Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal
Electromagnetic Effects Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK. The
successful candidate will be assigned to develop and deliver EME
products and will be the technical liaison between internal and
external organizations.Essential Functions:
- Testing and documenting hardware performance at the piece part
level through platform level.
- Assisting lead engineers in decomposing electromagnetic
environment (EME) system level requirements.
- Assisting in the final assembly by applying electrical bonding
in engineering processes for EME compliance.
- Performing and documenting electrical bonding.
- Assist in EME department process improvement efforts to enhance
testing, methods and data reductions.
- Provide status at Program milestone meetings.
- Develop pre and post-test briefings demonstrating EME
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining test
specifications, procedures, schedules and hardware metrology
- Some travel up to 25% will be required.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering,
or Mathematics) discipline with 9 years of relevant experience; OR
a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years of relevant
experience; OR a STEM PhD with 4 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in RF, Test, or design
- Active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain program access. This program
access must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as
determined by the company to meet its business needs.Preferred
- Preferred STEM degree in Electrical Engineering with EME
- Familiar with MIL-STD-464 and/or MIL-STD-461.
- Proficiency in MATLAB and RF modeling software tools such as
- Active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance
