The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principle or Sr. Principle Engineer Test based out of Oklahoma City, OK.


What You'll get to Do:


Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are metCandidates will be performing software integration tests, and writing/executing formal qualification test procedures. This person must also Work well in a team environment, have strong communication skills and be willing to travel.


--- Analyze, design, develop, test, modify and maintain embedded applications and support tools utilizing software engineering best practices and standards; participating in the full life-cycle activities of software development to include requirements, modeling, design, implementation, unit and integration test, release, installation and maintenance in an Agile development paradigm.

--- The candidate will participate in Agile scrum teams developing high quality products to our customers.

--- Mentoring more junior engineers

Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

This position may be filled at a Principle or Sr. Principle level depending on the skills and experience of the candidate.

--- Priciple Level: Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 5+ years (Bachelors) or 3+ years (Masters) or 0+ years (PhD). An additional four years of experience can be substituded for the Bachelor's degree.

Sr. Principle Level: Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics discipline from an accredited university and 9+ years (Bachelors) or 7+ years (Masters) or 4+ years (PhD). An additional four years of experience can be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.

--- Experience with Microsoft Windows Technologies

--- Active DoD Secret Clearance

--- Hands-on troubleshooting skills

--- Active DoD Secret Clearance

--- Must be able to obtain Security+ Certification within three months of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications:

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

--- Security+ Certification

--- CISSP Certification

--- Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning,

and JSIG package development.

--- Previous cybersecurity, Information Assurance experience, and/or system administration experience.

--- Experience with security relevant tools and audit logging software

--- Experience performing compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments

--- OS and application level patching for Windows environments

--- Experience with national security information system related security requirements (e.g. JAFAN, DCID, JSIG, ICD 503, RMF, DIACAP or NISPOM) to include technical computer/network system auditing.

--- Prior ISSO experience

--- Program Access

--- Experience with Agile software development

--- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

--- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
