Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/14/2026 - Duration: 12 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 4x10hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Apr 14, 2026 - Length: 12 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience in general, vascular, and OB sonography for a travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK. Details - General ultrasound unit within a hospital setting - Competency in general, vascular, and OB ultrasound required - 4x10 hour shifts scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM - No on-call required - Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius - 13-week contract Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience - Graduate of an accredited AMA ultrasound program - Active RDMS and ARDMS certifications required - Current BLS required - Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible - License required if applicable — no pending licenses accepted - Valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months required for consideration - 2 supervisory references required for consideration - Copies of certifications required for consideration Additional Information - Block scheduling requests are not accommodated - RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout dates may be requested - Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment - Local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-684162.
