The Manager of Digital Marketing will maintain the strategic plan for messaging, offers, acquisition, and engagement across all owned digital channels to enable our marketing, CRM, third-party delivery and loyalty objectives working with the Director of Digital Marketing. This strategy will be driven by data insights, segmentation, customer research, and business objectives. This role will also work cross-functionally help align the organization around an Integrated Marketing approach, identifying information gaps and process efficiencies while maximizing the unique opportunities each channel provides. Digital marketing functions include email, SMS, in-app marketing, app optimization, push notifications, website and SEO. It will be imperative for the Manager of Digital Marketing to constantly challenge the status quo, testing ways to increase engagement, and look for ways to meet/exceed KPIs on each channel. This role will also focus on customer acquisition along with creating and executing loyalty initiatives to attract and maintain MySonic members. *RESPONSIBILITIES** Enablement-of our marketing, CRM, and loyalty objectives, implementing and executing strategies to increase acquisition and activity within our digital channels while developing 1:1 consumer relationships via targeted engagement/rewards program* Manage the strategy, scheduling, and socialization of messaging and offers within owned digital channels, working cross-functionally help align the organization around an Integrated Marketing approach. This strategy will be driven by data insights, segmentation, customer research, and business objectives. Work with marketing team, franchisees, operations, performance analysis, and supply chain to ensure messaging and offer strategies gain acceptance and minimize risk while maximizing impact* Develop campaign briefs to leverage national promotional calendar messaging while developing consumer relationships, including targeting, media, and content integration* Align plans to complement the National Calendar and timelines defined by brand, product, on-lot promotions, and media teams. Work with franchisees, operations, and supply chain to ensure messaging and offer strategies gain acceptance and minimize risk* Manage third-party delivery activations and expansion across Sonic system while working directly with third-party delivery vendors to enhance sales and operations* Identify and activate third-party partnerships that help enable digital acquisition and engagement, working closely with the project management, technology, legal, and security teams to ensure optimal agreements and integration*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS** bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Advertising or related field required* 5 - 7 years of experience in brand marketing, digital marketing and marketing technology or related fields* Experience using CRM platforms and customer segmentation* Experience in food service/QSR industry a plus*REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES** The successful candidate must possess an understanding of franchisee / multi-unit retail environments targeting consumers or have significant experience dealing with "outside" constituents such as supporting multiple client contacts from an agency background* A natural orientation toward designing digital programs whose outcomes are measurable and can be tied to business performance* A strong foundation in integrated marketing and digital, with social media experience in or supporting a multi-unit environment in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry* Demonstrated experience developing and communicating digital brand messages that engage consumers* Experience managing campaigns from concept to completion including creating campaign briefs, copywriting, overseeing creative deliverables and ensuring all campaign elements enhance user experience* Experience working with product teams, providing business requirements to define expected outcomes of development projects* Proven experience managing multiple projects to on-time delivery* Prior experience working closely with, or for, advertising and digital media agencies and suppliers* Ability to build genuine, effective, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners* Ability to resolve problems independently and creatively, bringing new solutions to the organization* Excellent written and oral communication skills* Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and monitoring of own work to ensure quality, as well as of subordinates and collaborative partners At SONIC, we encourage and attract wildly creative people.
