Job Description Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial processes, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain the integrity of the general ledger. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Analyze and manage accrual accounts to align with company activity and standards. • Collaborate with team members to process transactions and maintain the general ledger. • Monitor and track expense accounts, ensuring compliance with accrual-based accounting principles. • Oversee timely payments and proactively address potential financial issues. • Utilize NetSuite to manage and streamline accounting processes. • Maintain accurate records for accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Record and review journal entries to support financial operations. • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of account balances.
