JOB TITLEGrant AccountantANNUAL SALARY RANGE$51,683 to
$65,200SUMMARY
Processes and maintains the accuracy of the Home Investment
Partnerships (HOME) Program and National Trust Funds (NHTF)
receipts and disbursements and other Housing Development Team
Programs as assigned. Also maintains the fixed asset accounting and
fixed asset inventory systems. -ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES -include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.Responsible for processing grant reimbursement requests
and activity completion reports on the HUD's Integrated
Disbursement Information System (IDIS).Responsible for preparing,
verifying, coding and posting deposits and grant reimbursement
payments in the Agency's grant management system, and sending out
quarterly reimbursement/expenditure reports to all sub
grantees.Responsible for processing check requests, ACH grant
payment transactions and stop payment actions after approved by the
CA-Grants Accounting Supervisor.Responsible for reconciling IDIS,
SAGE 100, and Grant management systems with the HDT bank accounts
in a timely manner each month.Responsible for assisting the
CA-Grant Accounting Supervisor with the financial monitoring of sub
grantees.Responsible for tracking the receipt of sub grantee audit
reports and assisting the CA-Grant Accounting Supervisor on
follow-up and resolution of sub grantee audit findings.Responsible
for tracking and recording bank match by sub grantee.Responsible
for processing and posting sub grantee grant modifications and
contract closeouts in the Agency's grant management
system.Responsible for maintaining and updating the Grant
Accountant Manual and financial sections of the Housing Development
Team Implementation Manual after approved by the CA-Grants
Accounting Supervisor.Assists the CA-Grant Accounting Supervisor
with staying abreast of and complying with all financial rules and
rule changes relating to grants administered by the
Agency.Responsible for maintaining fixed asset records in the Fixed
Asset software, documentation for all capital expenses, asset
tracking/department movements, asset totals, depreciation expense,
accumulated depreciation and all schedules and reconciliations to
Sage 100 GL accounts. - Performs, directs, and reconciles the fixed
asset cycle counts, annual asset inventory and the necessary
documentation for all assets disposed and removed from OHFA surplus
to the State of Oklahoma Surplus division.EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in Accounting or a Bachelor's degree
with 30 hours of accounting from a four-year college or university;
and two years of progressive accounting experience.CERTIFICATES,
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid driver's license. -Must be bondable.
