*Primarily responsible for developing, assembling, and distributing
the analytics needed to support the Internal Audit teams as well as
build, design, and execute ad-hoc analytics requests from Internal
Audit Leadership. - Build and maintain automated processes and
solutions that can be reused continuously by Internal Audit and the
Special Investigation Unit.
*Collaborate with data owners to capture, process, and blend large
volumes of data from multiple systems, and ensure the data is of
*Investigate risks using forensic analysis, data science and
modeling techniques to identify issues and root causes.
Internal Audit Capabilities
Solid understanding of audit concepts and processes.
Ability to design analytics in alignment with an audit plan and
related data; and
Ability to drive analytic activities that involve the
identification of key indicators and outliers from an audit and
Ability to design analytics in order to monitor changes in the
environment to identify new risks to the organization.
Data Science Capabilities
Develop work plans identifying relevant data sets, querying and
analyzing data, interacting with the business, and implementing
analytics modules using advanced analytics techniques.
Work independently and with a team to solve problems involving
complex and large data sets.
Comfort requesting data, validating data and manipulating large
data sets to identify trends to inform audit and strategic business
Ability to write applications and scripts (e.g. SQL, Python).
Create, manage, and utilize high performance relational databases
(e.g., MS SQL Server).
Create and explain complex analytic findings and techniques using
both written and verbal reports.
programming language experience - SQL, R or Python
Data Analysis experience (e.g. IDEA, ACL)
Data visualization experience (e.g. Qlik and/or Power BI)
Microsoft Excel and Power Point

Ability to negotiate and handle conflict resolution
Provide training and guidance to Audit staff on data analysis tools
Proficiency with PC Windows-based software, including operating
system, and word processing and spreadsheet applications

General business experience and knowledge, a thorough understanding
of risks and controls and the ability to apply such knowledge
across a variety of business lines
Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating

operational, or technology related areas
