Description: --- Responsible for developing more complex data analytics. Independently manipulate, model and analyze data sets to help solve complex problems ,identify data patterns and trends, provide forecasting analysis and insight, and guide others in doing so as well. Build new automation using RPA software, Excel VBA, or other programming languages as applicable to the task such as Python, R, SAS,etc. --- Provide interpretation, analysis and reports using critical thinking skills to fulfill internal and external data requests including unusual and complex requests. Prepare analysis, plan and recommend solutions to new and complex problems, develop innovative strategies, quantify company performance, and evaluate impact of potential changes. *Perform actuarial activities and assist actuaries with more complex actuarial activities. Provide internal and external solutions by applying actuarial concepts, effective use of technology, and advanced working knowledge of company operational systems and data. Manage actuarial systems and processes in order to produce information on a timely basis. --- Train lower level analysts on work responsibilities and complete final review of their work. --- Develop models, reports and databases for use in actuarial work. Independently code and develop complex actuarial programs using efficient programming structure. Identify data sources, test systems and maintain and support actuarial systems. --- Provide solutions by applying actuarial concepts, effective use of technology, and advanced working knowledge of company operational systems and data. --- Provide interpretation, analysis and periodic reports to fulfill internal and external data requests including unusual and complex requests. Analyze anomalies in data and research problems as well as make recommendations for resolution of problems. --- Prepare, coordinate, automate, and develop actuarial processes such as financial and valuation reporting, experience monitoring, reporting and renewal activity, and/or rate increases and assist in development of those processes (including the testing of new systems) taking into consideration requests and available data sources including limitation of data. --- Research data and recommend expected assumptions to be used in actuarial applications such as pricing, product development, valuation, predictive analytics, forecasting, maintenance and projections. --- Perform actuarial tasks such as pricing, experience reporting, valuation, predictive analytics, or forecasting of a case, product or block of business. Learn about and develop emerging actuarial methods.Job Requirements:Requirements:

  • Proficiency with PC Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create, run and modify complex actuarial models.
  • Mastery of job specific actuarial concepts to satisfaction of manager.
  • Advanced computer skills for job specific computer applications (Excel/ VBA/SAS/Access/databases/ Qlik, UiPath, SQL etc).
  • Deep knowledge of data requirements as applicable to job duties.
  • Shows initiative, such as addressing problems when needed.
  • Demonstrates ownership of projects and work product.
  • Good planning and organizational skills, including management of multiple assignments.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, analytical and interpretative skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
